Procedure and Criteria for Selecting Best Student Papers of ISGNSS 2018

In keeping with its mission to promote excellence in student research and early scientific work, there will be awards for student papers presented at the International Symposium on Global Navigation Satellite System 2018.

The winners of award will receive USD 250, 200, and 150 for first, second and third best student papers, respectively.

  • To be eligible for consideration for the best student paper awards of ISGNSS 2018, the following criteria apply:
    1. The first author of the paper must be a student, which is proved by his/her student identity card issued by the enrolled university/college.
    2. Full paper must be received by the ISGNSS 2018 Secretariate.
    3. The submitted paper has never been presented and published in any conference and journal.
    4. The paper must be presented at the oral presentation of parallel session.
  • The paper will be published on the Conference Proceedings and nominated to the selected Journal.
  • The Selection Committee will consist of members of IPC/Local Organizing Committee, and parallel session Moderators.
  • The Selection Committee’s decision is final.
  • The general criteria include:
    1. Significance and relevance of paper to Conference theme;
    2. Choice of topic and analysis of issues;
    3. Use of appropriate methodological rigor;
    4. Quality of originality and research;
    5. Relationship to literature and theory;
    6. Clarity of writing and/or presentation.
  • It is strongly recommended to review the Judging Aspects as the consideration for the presentation materials.
